故事梗概 “等郎妹”，是全国解放以前客家山区一种畸型的婚俗，年幼女孩嫁到没有男孩的家中，苦苦等待婆婆为自己生一个丈夫。故事发生在二十世纪三十年代的客家山区。客家女润月幼年丧母，八岁那年，润月便被无力抚养她的父亲送到王家做等郎妹。在去王家的路上，儿时的伙伴春生，默默地看着坐在竹筏上的润月，随波而去，消失在远方。 但由于年纪小，夜晚醒来时，润月哭着要回家，阿姆(婆婆)桃花告诉她，进了王家的门，就是王家的人，外出是要犯忌讳的。阿姆五岁那年开始做等郎妹。苦苦等到的丈夫命丧南洋后，留给阿姆唯一的希望便是腹中的胎儿。在客家人聚居的地方，像阿姆一样命苦的女人不在少数。 阿菊比润月小一岁。阿菊做等郎妹的五年来，阿姆一连给她生了三个女娃。菊花的阿姆把自己接二连三生女娃的原因归结于阿菊，常常无端地责骂和殴打阿菊。比起阿菊，润月幸运得多。幸运的原因是，阿姆(桃花)不久生下...。In 1953, Mamadou Touré directed Mouramani, a film considered as the first ever made by a black French-speaking director.
