This atmosphere lends itself to repressed emotions - shown through the parallel stories of butler student Johann lusting after his mother (an old flame of the mysterious Count Knotkers) and Klara's attraction to her father (who lusts after his other...。“九一八”后，青年诗人辛白华与朋友梁质夫从东北流亡到了上海，刚刚离婚的施夫人对辛白华很有好感，白华也深受施夫人吸引。白华的二楼住着少女阿凤和她的母亲，她们得到了白华和梁质夫的帮助，不久阿凤的母亲病逝，白华很同情她就把阿凤送到学校读书。梁质夫因受到朋友牵连被捕入狱，白华躲到了施夫人家，被施夫人带到青岛游玩。阿凤加入了歌舞班也来到青岛演出，她演出的《铁蹄下的歌女》仍没有使白华走出安逸生活。梁质夫出狱后北上参加抗战，不幸牺牲，白华听到好友牺牲的消息后毅然离开了温柔乡走上了抗战前线。。
