Only one man can help the stricken community - ...。叙述朱总管和方菲丽与谢律师三人勾结物色女子张美红充冒富翁徐惠堂之女徐琪设计谋财的经过情形。。1946年，国民党军与我军在东北驿马川一带战成胶着态势。驿马川匪患严重，民不聊生。我军常胜连入川剿匪，与以弓万堂为首的土匪势力展开较量。解甲归田的抗日英雄杨烽火与弓万堂是八拜之交，既是兄弟又是情敌。常胜连指导员宋毅制定了各个击破土匪的“分金计划”，而匪首弓万堂则提出了借共产党铲平异己，一统驿马川的“并金计划”，杨烽火在民族大义和江湖情义之间，选择了站在宋毅一边。在杨烽火的帮助下，常胜连最终剿灭了匪患，宋毅为此付出了生命。杨烽火也重新加入了解放军，回到了民族解放的战场上。
