13岁的却斯（爱德华·福隆饰）在亲眼目睹母亲意外伤亡的惨剧后，他和父亲为避免触景伤情搬到偏远郊区居住；却斯与年龄相近的邻居乔很快便结为好友，不幸的是，乔却有个爱动粗的酒鬼继父，当乔养的小狗被继父打死后，将之葬在邻近的一处坟场，想不到没过多久小狗竟死而复活！其后乔的继父和却斯亡母的尸骨，亦相继葬在这个具有神秘力量的坟场……。During a long journey, Astrid and Tristan stop at a remote cottage to spend the night.
