故事以主角辛纪元（黄日华饰）为主干，原是重案组督察，在经历儿子离奇猝死的打击后，触发了他能阅读及捕捉他人意识的潜能，过程中他出现了双重性格的征象，妻子及旁人都以为他患了精神病，其实他深信儿子是在“意识空间”被人杀死！元从此着力钻研“阅读人意识”的潜能，以私家侦探身份协助警方调查超自然案件，希望有一日查出在意识空间杀死儿子的真凶……而剧中一班主角都有异于常人的能力，他们把别人眼中“不正常”的特质，转化为不可思议的潜能，一起合作屡破奇案。。The Delinquent Season is a tense drama which revolves around two couples in suburban Dublin. Although all seems fine on the surface, cracks in both relationships come to light when, one night at dinner, Chris lashes out at his wife, Yvonne. The film explores both love and loss and ultimately asks the question, How well can any of us really know each other?。
