When the dealer of electronics devices, Paul Reeves, is caught selling a stolen projector, the police identifies the crimin...。「下山メシ 高崎篇」では、群馬県高崎市のシンボル・榛名山（はるなさん）を訪ね、富士山のように整った形が特徴の榛名富士を登ったあと、榛名湖畔の食事処・大蔵坊（だいぞうぼう）こばやしを訪れる。わかさぎフリッター、メンチカツコロッケ（メンコロ）など揚げ物とともにビールを楽しみ、高崎名産の小麦粉を使ったうどんで満腹に。番組初となる“デザートタイム”も設けられ、高崎産フルーツをふんだんに使用したパフェやパンケーキで締めくくられる。。座頭市はある宿場町で、医者の順庵と娘お志津を助けて悪玉ヤクザ・松五郎と対決する。市は深手を負いながらも松五郎一家と用心棒・弦八郎を倒すが、弦八郎は順庵の息子だった……。野川由美子がイキのいい姐御ぶりをみせる。。
